sir thomas more

hi  i enjoy the tudors and it seems pretty accurate. i'm curious as to how others see the sacrifice sir thomas made for his principles. was he being selfish in not compromising for the sake of his family, knowing full well what would happen to them as well as knowing the corruption of the church in rome at that time as well.

I think it was very hard for him, but he stuck to his principles. I'm sure that what he saw Henry do to England and the Church was horribly wrong, and sacrificed himself for it. I think the way that they portrayed Henry being so sensitive to the whole affair probably very true, as Henry idolized Thomas from his youth.
